Fitment Guides
Allow your customers find a particular product or need based on complex parameters in an easy-to-use way.
Fitment Guides
Fitment Guides are advanced lookup tools that allow a manufacturer to match parts to a given application. Some examples include:
- A tire manufacturer wanting all tires that fit a particular vehicle
- A furniture maker who wants to show all legs that fit a particular table
- A automobile parts manufacturer which wants to display what parts are available for a given vehicle
- A computer parts manufacturer who wishes to display the items compatible to their make/brand of computer
In each case, a simple one-to-one lookup isn't always feasible. Just in the case of tires, various inflation pressures must be calculated to ensure that the replacement fitment not only matches the OE (original equipment) specifications for size, but for load and handling characteristics.
